"
Fire and Ice" Fun
Prior to the end of the school year, Academy students attended "Fire and Ice," a fun, highly-successful dinner and dance at the Joe Crowley Student Union on the University of Nevada, Reno campus. Members of the student council planned every aspect of the event, and their hard work paid off. It was a terrific example of students working together to create an exciting, unforgettable event.

“Their minds were so much more open, and they weren’t afraid to ask or present ideas . . . Being in the research labs and instructing you tend to look down one avenue, and they bring up detours. It reminds me of why I went into science in the first place.”
