The Davidson Academy
has officially moved into its new home! More than quadruple the size of our
previous space, the new facility has much to offer students. The building is wireless
and a number of classrooms feature smart technology. There is a
student lounge, private courtyard, art and music practice rooms and a food
court downstairs. The Academy is also now located at the center of the
University of Nevada, Reno campus
which makes it more convenient for students to attend university courses.
Despite all of the new space, classes are still purposely kept small and students receive one-on-one attention from instructors and staff.
The Academy seeks to allow each student to learn and succeed at a pace that is
appropriately challenging for them, and our new facility only helps us to better achieve this vision.
If you are interested in visiting the Academy, there is an
Open House on Tuesday, August 19
from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Instructors, administrators and current students will be available to answer your questions. If you cannot make this event, then mark your calendars for a fall tour:
September 19, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
October 17, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
November 21, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
